Dear
Eduardo. A performance comes along once in a lifetime where
the craft, the poetry, the art, the character and the story
are aligned in one heavenly miracle. Your work in "Bella"
was, undeniably, one of the most beautiful performances
I witnessed on screen in a very long time. As a director
of the theater, I marvel at a performance where the actor
is lost within the soul of a character. In live theater,
the experience is visceral as the actor is living and breathing
on stage -- directly in front of you. On celluloid, that
personal, live experience is, obviously, not there. But
once in a while, there is a film, a script and a performance
where the director has managed to fuse the 3 elements together
in a soulful, spirited way that touches the human heart
in a live and personal way. "Bella" reaches that goal and
transcends the experience further. Thank you for sharing
"Bella" with the world. Thank you for your integrity, your
grace and your generosity as an actor. It would be an honor
to work with you one day. Perhaps the angels of the arts
will bring us together to collaborate in a theater where
your passions can be realized on a live stage. With deepest
respect and admiration. Sincerely,
Stafford

Hello,
My Name is Annette and I wanted to take this time and tell
you that I saw Bella. And let me tell you this as been the
best movie I have ever seen. God Bless you. I wish we can
have more movies like that. You see this movie had so much
positive message in that I had to see it again and again
I can site here all day at work and be all day telling little
pieces of words, signs, body language that I got out of
it.
I must tell you again God Bless you and I hope that you
and your friends can continue doing a great job. And also
thank you for doing something that I never dare to do cuz
I am Puertorriquena and I didn’t think that no one would
listen to me, but the different between you and I is that
I didn’t believe in me . God Bless you I will always have
you in my prayers Thank you,
Annette

Eduardo,
I just want to say. I have followed your work and could
see the enormous change from when you first started. Aside
from just being more mature with age, you can see God has
blessed you in many ways. Your messages are full of love
and warmth and you want to listen. I hope you continue to
do what is put in front of you. I am proud as a Latin woman
to see how you are now evolving. Bella had a beautiful message.
Inspiration to many I am sure. Being in my thirties I know
many women faced with decisions of such uncertainty. It
is nice to see movies that actually have a message other
than the physical attributes of the human being. I hope
to see more wonderful movies in the future.

Eduardo,
I recently watched your movie Bella, and it moved me to
tears. I did not know you were the producer until I watched
you on Christina. I want to say that it was awesome to watch
a movie that was not about sex, violence, and all the other
bad stuff we do not need anymore of. The movie was awesome
and it really brought a strong message to all of us that
have watched it, I'm sure. I just want to say, "keep up
the good work and continue on the path you've chosen." I'm
sure this is the first of many movies that you will be making
that will make people stop and think about what they are
about to do and the consequences that their choice will
make, be it for better or worse. I also want to congratulate
you on being proud of saying that the woman you marry must
not only be beautiful on the outside, but be beautiful inside,
in her heart and spirit. I am sure God will bless you with
an awesome woman that will share many of your thoughts and
convictions, and of course, your love of children!! I hope
to hear soon of coming movies, or maybe even your wedding!!
God Bless You,
Sandy Smith, TX, USA
Eduardo,
I am a 22 year old catholic woman, I am in discernment for
my vocation and I am praying hard to find the right path
and hear God's calling... I am recently gotten into the
pro-life movement, I watched a film on abortion and saw
the raw truth to it, it changed my life. I then came across
your film Bella and it spoke to me, It truly did light a
candle in my heart. I see not the importance of life and
I see that I want to focus my discernment on the pro life
movement... God speaks to us in all different ways, I know
He is speaking to you... I will keep you in my prayers..
God bless you and remember .. To Jesus Through Mary.. Our
Lady is Our Mother, love her... Thanks and Love

I
wanted you to know how much we - my family and I - appreciate
everything you have done by the making of this movie "Bella."
Within itself is a call to coversion for us all: not only
the hispanic who sees himself/herself contributing to stereotypes,
but also the believers who proclaim Jesus with out lips
but deny him with our actions. "Metanoia." A call to conversion.
Thank you for calling us to this change. Your approach is
gentle and welcoming. It is a reminder of who we are in
our souls - a people of God whose hearts are created to
love God by loving one another. You know (because you have
seen!) that we can fool ourselves into believing that glitter
outshines the sun; you also know that once we have seen
the sun, we can never truly turn our faces away from it
again. I thank you and all who worked on this project for
being divine instruments. Thank you and to God be all the
glory. Sincerely, Anna Natera Rendón & family .

Dear
Eduardo, Thank you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart
for making the movie, Bella. I know that the film has touched
countless lives in many deep and extraordinary ways, but
I would like to personally thank you for the unique way
in which it has touched mine.
Until I saw Bella. :) Just typing the name of the film makes
me smile. From the very first scene, all the way until the
final image - when I had tears streaming down my face -
I could feel the love poured into this project. I could
feel your sincerity and sense of purpose throughout the
film. There were clear moments when I was able to see Eduardo,
the incredible human being, not just Eduardo the actor in
front of the camera. There were moments in Bella when your
eyes did not simply express José's story, they expressed
your commitment to making an impact in the world and touching
people's hearts. I saw you in the film, and I was moved
deeply.

Eduardo,
I just want to thank you for your movie "Bella". It was
so nice to see a "Hollywood" movie that didn't portray abortion
as O.K. and the norm. I had an abortion when I was 17 and
didn't know any better. I would have done anything to have
a Jose in my life. My boyfriend certainly wasn't him. After
my now husband and I watched your film a couple of weeks
ago (which I cried through a lot to) my husband asked me
what I wanted him to be for my baby when he gets to heaven.
I was so moved by that. I firmly believe every woman facing
an unplanned pregnancy needs to know the horrible repercussions
of an abortion. It is never over and done with the guilt,
shame, anger, and sadness that follow continue for a life
time. Nothing will replace that baby. Thanks again for showing
that there are alternatives. In appreciation!

Hello
Mr. Eduardo Garcia Gimenez !!! I am Maria from Dallas, TX.
Mr. Eduardo Verastegui is one of my heroes because of "Bella".
The movie was promoted on the Guadalupe Catholic Radio in
Dallas, TX and I was very excited about it. I remember telling
all of my co-workers and all my friends to see it. I took
my mother on opening weekend and we loved it. This movie
spoke to my heart in a way that no other movie has ever
done. I thank all of those involved for this masterful work
and for being courageous enough to film it. This movie showed
that there is so much more to live for and especially demonstrated
that real love is never selfish. Thanks for reading!

Dear
Eduardo, I live in Switzerland and am a banker with no real
purpose in my life. I have just seen Bella and just wanted
to tell you how deeply it has touched me. At a moment in
my life where I am going, because of various events or just
a natural evolution process (probably both), through a mini-cataclysm,
this movie has hit a note deep within me. I don't yet know
what I am going to do with this as I am still pretty confused
and lost about my life but I am no longer going to ignore
this feeling that has been highlighted by your film. Bravo
for believing and participating in such a beautiful project.
Even though I am certain you also did it out of necessity
- for your own survival... I have to now find mine. May
God always be with you,
Serene

Dear Eduardo, My name is Joanne. I was one of the many pilgrims
who attended World Youth Day in
Sydney this year.
In
fact I was fortunate enough to be one of the 8000 volunteers!
It was a long, Spiritual and memorable week.
Up to 500,000 people/pilgrims from all around the world
participated, making it a 'special event.' It felt special
and inspirational witnessing so many people present from
different ages and backgrounds. Everyone felt this indescribable
inner peace.
Even police officers, reporters and camera people had a
smile upon their face. I may never see these people again,
but each person had a positive light about them; an unforgettable
presence. We were also blessed with perfect weather throughout
the week; it only rained on Sunday night after the final
World Youth Day Mass...
I am writing this e-mail to thank you for the work you do.
It must feel great to know that you are making a difference
in someone else's life. Even if you only help one person,
that's enough to make God smile. God works through people
so that they can help others in need. At times, you may
feel alone because people don't support or understand your
views, but I hope you know that your compassion is needed
and appreciated.
I live in Australia so I don't know much about you or your
background. I've never heard of you... I was at the Sydney
Convention Centre, waiting to view the film "Bella" which
my friend wanted to watch. My friend's name is Liesabeth,
she lives in California, and I met her at the World Youth
Day. She spoke highly of you as a director/actor so I had
no choice but to watch the film she requested. As we were
sitting outside the room waiting for the doors to open,
this young man walks by and I notice Liesabeth getting excited.
She got up and quickly managed to have a photo taken with
this man. I didn't know why she was excited, as I didn't
recognise the man.
This man in question was you! Right now in your life, you
have become humble/modest and care for simple/important
things. However, the fact that you used to be a soap actor
is great, because now you attract fans who look up to you
and take note of the positive differences you make in life.
Wishing you all the best in life and may God continue to
bless you and your family with health, love and inner peace.
Kind regards,
Joanne Kmaid.
Just
saw Bella and was wonderfully surprised by such a good movie.
The story behind Bella is as wonderful as the film itself.
It is so rare to find a young actor/producer who is a Christian
and dedicated to following God. I can’t wait to see the
next film. Thank you so much. Our world needs Christ in
the midst of so much darkness.

Dear
Eduardo,
While shopping in my neighborhood mall last night, I came
across your DVD Belle. I knew who you were from having watched
Chasing Papi a couple of years ago and having bought your
music CD around the same time. So I decided to purchase
the DVD since it intrigued me.
Having watched it last night, I just wanted to congratulate
you, Alejandro Monteverde and the rest of the project for
creating such a moving film.
But most importantly, after perusing your official website...what
I found to be even more moving was your personal story and
testimony about your spiritual journey and conversion. As
a Christian women, I just wanted to offer you up some encouragement
to keep "running the race to the end." It's good to know
that there are people like yourself and Alejandro who are
willing to take a stand against the "norm" in Hollywood/entertainment
world with the purpose of wanting to create quality films.
I pray that God continue to bless you and your work, and
that people be inspired by what God has done in your life.
I thank Him for "bringing you home" so that He may reveal
His purpose for your life.
God Bless Eduardo and I look forward to seeing more films
from your production company. In His Grip,
Raquel

Hello,
My name is Anabelle and I wanted to say that I think you
are one of the few latin men in this world that are not
afraid to show themselves how they truly are even if its
in the public eye. I admire the fact that you are not afraid
to express yourself about how you see religion, which is
a really touchy subject and sometimes as human beings we
get caught up in the moment or our lifestyle that we don’t
realize what we are doing. So I just want to say that I
admire that in you!

Hello
Eduardo, I'd never heard of the movie "Bella" until the
day that you came and visited my church in Houston, Texas.
I believe you came to promote your movie at Lakewood Church
with Pastor Marcos Witt. I didn't know you were here until
one of my friends told me the next day. I was really bummed
because I'd seen you on many Latino shows. I recently watched
the movie "Bella" and fell so in love with it. I only wish
I could've watched it sooner. The movie was amazing and
I want to thank you and all the people involved in the making
of this movie. It was such a breath of fresh air and I know
you will be richly rewarded for your efforts. Thank you
for taking that step of faith and I hope that there will
be more movies such as this. This leads me to my question
for you! Will there be any other movies such as this one
and if so when? I look forward to hearing from you! Also,
CONGRATULATIONS on your decision to press into God and His
will for your life. You have made a wonderful stand that
I hope many other men would glean off of ! I know God has
GREATER things in store for you Eduardo!! God Bless You!!

Eduardo,
I recently saw Bella and also happened to see an interview
you did that was broadcast on a Christian TV station here
in Texas. I felt compelled to pray for you - that God will
continue to bless you and the work you are doing - I think
maintaining integrity and living out one's faith are much
needed qualities in the entertainment industry these days.
I just wanted you to know that you are reaching people -
and that through your committment to God, people are being
blessed. You are not just speaking your faith, you are acting
it out, and that speak volumes to those who are influenced
by you. And in return, I pray that God blesses you richly
and continues to give you strength and His protection from
Satan's attacks. Thank you for using your the fame that
God has blessed you with to spread the gospel. God bless
you,
Melissa Vines San Angelo, Texas
Eduardo,
Thank you for your incredible witness to our Lord Jesus
Christ! The life you have chosen to live is a positive example
of love and sacrifice for all of us to follow. May God Bless
and strengthen You for the attack of the evil one that is
coming! Your Brother in Christ,
Mark

Hi
I am Marisol, born in Mexico, raised in Texas. I have been
a fan of Eduardo since his appearance in Mexican telenovelas.
When I learned about his commitment to his faith, my respect
for him grew. You don’t see many celebrities reaffirming
their faith and making a commitment to use their talents
to help build God’s Kingdom. Learning about Eduardo’s faith
came about a year or two after my own conversion. Considering
that he is one of the most beautiful celebrities out there,
it is not his physical beauty that inspires me to be his
fan, but rather his genuine walk with God. A spiritual man
is hard to find nowadays. Secondary to his spirituality,
I also applaud his efforts to stem away from contributing
to films that further portray stereotypes about Latinos.
Looking forward to the latest film. Many blessings, tu paisana
