Eduardo
Verástegui creates the Guadalupe Foundation

December
1th 2005
Eduardo
Verástegui is tired of exploiting his sensuality. Currently
he wants to help the US emigrants and he wants holding speeches
to help them surmounting their difficulties.
However
recently the TV commercial of the perfume ""Life"" with
Jennifer Lopez was released nationwide, Eduardo told he
will no longer appear with open shirt.
""When
I am called to do a commercial or some modelling, the request
is forwarded to Leo, my representative. Leo is informed
first hand to check if it's about a fully ""dressed up production"",
if I have to appear with open shirt the invitation to do
the commercial will be rejected.""
""And
even more so I refuse to collaborate with commercials for
tobacco and/or alcohol"" he added. ""And I do no longer
wish to exploit my sensuality. I want to appear in dignity,
and showing I have principles""
But this is not all. The actor just founded the charity
organisation ""Guadalupe Foundation"" to help the US emigrants,
and vagabonds.
""This
foundation sure is my priority right now. Metanoía Films
is my work, and the Guadalupe Foundation is where my heart
belongs.
Since it's here where I really come into contact with the
society"" he commented.
The
current producer adds he will start the 3rd of December
to do speeches at high-schools, colleges, and universities,
to foster the students incentives to pursue their -difficult
to achieve- dreams.
