Success
is the word appropriate to characterize the artistic career
of Eduardo Verástegui, the elegant Mexican who even took
the breath away of Jennifer Lopez (in the famous video-clip
""Ain't it Funny"")
All the hard work is not done for nothing. Today's solo-singer
talked about his career starting 9 years ago with the former
band ""Kairo"". Back then he was in El Salvador for the
first time. Since that time Eduardo was dedicated to pursue
modelling and acting.
A short talk with Eduardo showed him very easy going, a
warm and kind personality, and accessible.
He not at all the presumed inaccessible
Calvin
Klein model, seen everywhere on all the billboards of the
big cities worldwide.
Instead he's very easy accessible , a humble young man with
a bright future ahead of him. He is conscious of the fact
his moment of today’s huge glory could be fading in the
future.
He fully realizes he is entered into a world of stiff competition,
which the music industry certainly is. More specific the
pop-music, where he now stars as singer. Despite the fact
of the stiff competition, he's not pretending to be the
exclusive icon of the pop music.
""My
wish is to pursue the work I enjoy most, which is a musical
career as well as a parallel acting one. I put forward the
best of myself in every project, I put forward into it all
my feelings, with all my heart, all my efforts and dedication
are put into it without knowing what final result my efforts
will have on the end result."" Eduardo explained.
HOWEVER..
However..These are not at all the results of the final stages
of Eduardo his career, it's totally the opposite, it's to
be revealed to you that the response of both the producers
and the audience are continuing to be very very positive.
His first album, with the title '"Eduardo Verástegui, was
launched simultaneously in 19 countries, an achievement
Eduardo never would have been able to conceive.
""I
was thinking just to start the launch of the CD in Mexico,
and to wait for the results there. And then from there to
continue our promotion and to see where to continue the
campaign next. The debut album -always the most difficult
one to promote- would be hard to simultaneously promote
in all those countries, at least according to me"" the Mexican
told.
Reminding of?
With
various themes, rousing ballads, a mix of rhythms, Eduardo
launched his conquest of Latin America all with his own
voice.
The actor of the hit-series Soñadoras (Dreamers) commented:
""Everybody could feel emotions hearing this music, because
the themes are very free emotional expressions. In the artistic
world you cannot control the emotions.... This CD has no
similarities with Kairo whatsoever (this style of music),
there are no similarities, not in music, not in style, it's
an unique and new artwork, totally new and never shown before""
The
CD kicks off with the first song ""Yo no Se Perder"", the
same hit was taped by the singer to be used for the video
of the press packet release. Taped in the studios of the
famous Estéfano in the city of Miami, USA.
The
rest of the CD contains hits like "Tequila", "Suave", "Estoy
aquí por ti", "Vivo la locura", "Luces de la ciudad", "A
partir de hoy", "Por ti", "Baila" and "Por falta de tu amor".
Always grateful
Eduardo is one of the artist who, despite the fame, still
staying humble. As always he expresses his gratitude for
the opportunities given to him everyday.
""It's
a career in which one should continue to be grateful, you
are entitled to express your gratitude to God, your gratitude
with life, the fans, and the audience, because all of these
facts can make or end your career."" Eduardo adds.
Besides given his huge experience as singer, actor and model,
Eduardo proves us that building a career like this is very
difficult, and is very demanding. It takes a lot of sacrifices,
hard labour, and discipline to succeed. According to his
opinion: ""These 3 elements are the basic ingredients to
succeed in the endeavour""
Trajectory of his career
1993 Eduardo was selected to become part of Kairo. With
this band they taped 2 albums and 8 music videos. 1994,
Kairo launched their debut-album. 1997: Eduardo left Kairo
and moved to New York, to study acting. 1997-2000, he starred
in the Telenovelas (Spanish daytime drama) "Mi querida Isabel",
"Una luz en el camino", "Soñadoras", "Alma rebelde" and
"Tres mujeres". 2000 he publiced his first calendar, launched
in Miami.
2001 he launched his album ""Eduardo Verástegui"" which
he currently promotes.
