in Miami prior to his moving to Los Angeles.

EDUARDO VERASTEGUI READY TO DEBUTE IN HOLLYWOOD

Eduardo Verástegui did the interview in his apartment in Miami, which he soon will leave, in order to move to Los Angeles.

Having this kind of career, everybody knows.. you never know where you might end up the other day.. and it's clear you should be prepared for everything.

And most recently his successful incursion in the music industry, is now setting his goals to launch his debut in Hollywood to make it really big. Yet he was singled out to be the leading man on the important Fox 2000 movie ""Chasing Papi"". On this movie Eduardo plays a rich successful Latino xecutive of a cosmetics company.

The young actor and singer, 26 years of age, yet divides his time between the cities of Los Angeles and Miami, and in the latter city it was where Eduardo welcomed us in his apartment, for the first time.

Eduardo lived for about two years in the US, before leaving once more to his country of birth, Mexico, where he starred as leading man in 5 Telenovelas. But Eduardo has a bold, ambitious, adventurous personality, so he was set for the adventure of a life in the USA, where he met with the ex-manager of Enrique Iglesias, Fernan Martinez. This helped to initiate his career as solo-singer.

Since the last few months, the CD of Eduardo became available in any record shops, a CD with romantic songs. Some of the songs composed by the huge talents Estefano and Donato, both of which are being appreciated to have played an essential role in the musical success of Paulina Rubio, and wrote for her some musical parts too.

Eduardo told us about his great passion for the music and acting, and he did so in the warm cosy atmosphere of his beautiful home in Miami. An apartment shown for the last time on photo, because now Eduardo is set to move his belongings to Los Angeles. Here Eduardo hopes to continue realizing his dreams.

Is the career of an artist like that of a gipsy, today you're here, tomorrow you are somewhere else?

Yes indeed..you are right, when pursuing this kind of career , you never know where you'll end up tomorrow, the only certainty you have is that you have to be prepared for everything..

An example of this was the starring of Eduardo together with Jennifer Lopez.. she picked out Eduardo to do the video, which was a smashing #1 hit globally. Eduardo was singled out to do the hottest flamenco dance on the planet.

He was singled out after his photo was seen by Jennifer Lopez, who received Eduardo his press packet. The photo was made by William Prazuela, where Eduardo was shown dancing with two ladies.

""When it was told me I was selected to do the video together with Jennifer I just was flabbergasted, I couldn't believe this was true!

We did the taping in Los Angeles, and the day I arrived there, I was told to do flamenco dancing. I am not at all an expert on this, but I did my best to make the best of it, and indeed the result was not bad at all"" Eduardo confessed today.

""The physical part, it's unavoidable. It's the first thing one encounters, but after this first stage you see more details. I love the very female kind of woman, who is sensual, caring, and smells right, who has the right chemistry. I am looking for a very sensitive, sweet, warm, noble, dynamic and flirting lady. A lady who has ambitions.""

AND WHAT ABOUT YOU, HOW DO YOU DESCRIBE YOURSELF?

I am independent, I am a hustler, and I am stubborn. Sure I am romantic and like to flirt too. I enjoy being together with the lady of my dreams, however right now I am single. I have female friends, yes, but to have a fiancée, it's impossible maintaining a relation while being so busy in this extremely busy career. But someday the moment will arrive.""

ON A PERSONAL LEVEL, HOW DO YOU IMAGINE YOUR FUTURE?

Eduardo: If God continues to provide me life and health, I could see myself married and having a lot of kids.

YOU ARE A DREAMER?

Eduardo: Yes, very much so. I am very much a dreamer, both in my sleep as well as being awakened.

What are you dreaming? To consolidate your career as singer and actor on the big screen?

Eduardo: I do not like to tell in public about my dreams, because I am a little shy. But I pray God to protect me and to bless me with all my projects I embark on.

Every project I do with great passion and dedication, and of course the public will be informed on them.

How did your life change from the day you launched your career?

Eduardo: ""All have been very positive. I have grown professionally and I am very happy and grateful. I have experienced a big evolution. The only sacrifice I had to make is seeing my family and friends a little less often. Despite this I am very glad with how all has evolved. MY FRIENDS STAYING THE SAME

Your friends stay the same Eduardo?

Eduardo: Yes, I believe friends from childhood will be friends for life, and they will stay friends forever. Obviously you grow up, and you get to know more people, and the community of friends is expanding. But as soon as you starts to change, you'll be abandoned, because the people are not interested in that what you represented to them, but the people are sincerely interested in who you really are as a human being.

You like to be a celebrity?

Eduardo: ""When the fame starts to make you loosing your head, then you are lost. The people who have made it as artists would not act very logically when they have a bad relationship with the audience. But at the same time you need to be very careful as artist and public person.

Do you think the physical aspect has helped you to get to the top?

Eduardo: Maybe yes, basically spoken the physical aspects helps to open windows of opportunity. But if you lack talent, if you cannot offer the people something special, then the building of fame will start collapsing all around you.

Maybe you would be allowed to record one CD, or to do one telenovela (Spanish soap), but soon after you would get into oblivion.

So the physical part is very good and important, but at the same time you need artistic talent...
