EDUARDO AND HIS METANOIA:TELEPHONE CONVERSATION

According to the telephone conversation I had with Eduardo, I must tell you that the truth is that Eduardo is not interested in taking part in projects which do not reflect his own ideals. At this stage of his life, Eduado is no longer seeking fame in Hollywood by featuring a simple latin lover, in fact, he expects to transmit a message full of spiritual and moral values through the screen.

Eduardo is interested in those films that will stir the public conscience, touch people's hearts and portray a sense of dignity; he'd like to feature roles through which he can transmit his own metanoia and, at the same time, foster a new metanoia in his audience.

Hollywood does no longer impress him so as to compel him to do movies just for the sake of it, actually, Eduado would like to make a difference.

If his only aim in life was fame and money, he would accept every single proposal he receives, but his goal is to serve God and his brothers through his talent and to help better the human beings.

He is no longer into fame or glory, no matter if he was starving and flat broke, he would never accept a role devoid of significance, he'd rather work as a waiter.

In past interviews, Eduardo used to mention that his hero was Superman, at present, though, he considers all Saints to be his role models, as they were common people who - through a profound metanoia - attained sainthood.

Since Chasing Papi was shot until this day Eduardo has been through a profound metanoia, perhaps misunderstood by many fans or even film producers.

At the moment, Eduado studies and analizes deeply those projects which he is offered to find out whether they are in line with his career and whether they represent the ideals he would like to transmit.
