The popular presenter Cristina Saralegui realized the inauguration of her brand new TV studio, seen all over the place in Miami. To celebrate this milestone the career of the solo-singer Eduardo Verástegui was launched from there.

""Eduardo appears in the spotlight of the music-industry, being managed by Fernán Martinez. He is considered being the artistic creator of the image of Enrique Iglesias"" told the queen of the Latin- talk shows.

The audience was entertained very well by Eduardo during the course of the show of Cristina, he sang two hits of his album, the song ""Yo no Se Perder (=I am not getting lost"") and the song ""Tequilla"".

From the new studio ""Blue Dolphin"" the program featuring Eduardo Verástegui was broadcasted nationwide on Monday the 7th of May, 2001 at 3 p.m. eastern.

According to the presenter Cristina Saralegui Eduardo has always been one of her favourite celebrities

Broadway is the party

A constellation of stars from different backgrounds representing all of Latin-America attended to make the Broadway fiesta the biggest Latin event of California.

Sunday April the 28th 2002

Having evolved into a new tradition, for the 13th time the Broadway Fiesta will gear up Los Angeles to party. Its streets will be filled with thousands and thousands of persons making it the biggest Hispanic cultural event of California. Of the highest artistic quality similar to those other big Latin events and in popularity topping the highest ranked other events like ""La Calle Ocho"" of Miami, the Puerto Rican Parade, and New York.

As always this event is being held a week before Cinco de Mayo, the Fifth of May. Attending on this event will be the queen of Latin Rock Alejandra Guzmán, this queen doesn't need any further introduction. This Queen of Rock was selected as one of the organizers of the big event to be the ""royalty"" of this 13th edition of the Broadway Fiesta. The festive moods will be swung into the highest gear by the performance of the music band ""Banda El Recodo"" -60 years on stage- as being the ""Great Marshal."" Alejandra Guzmán will perform on centre stage located on the intersection of Broadway and Olympic, about 3 p.m. Pacific, while the Mexican band Banda El Recodo (founded by the Mexican ""Cruz Lizárraga"") will appear on stage at Albertsons at the same time.

As hopefully is being appreciated, the concept is to entertain the audience by two different big events of the popular music scene. This is to avoid the gathering of large crowds at the individual stages. These massive gatherings happened in the previous Broadway Fiestas, and since there will be over half a million people attending the events, -this massive attendance happened previously-, this event will be split into two rather than one big event.

The most important artists to appear on stage starting on 11 in the a.m. in the morning until 5.40 p.m. in the afternoon will be: AARP: Dyango, Eduardo Verástegui, Yuri, Bertín Osborne, Celia Cruz and José Luis Rodríguez .Terra: Gerardo, Vilma Palma, Luis Fonsi, Moenia, Los Tri-o and Eduardo Verástegui. McDonald's: Jorge Moreno, Moenia, Daniel Rodríguez, Cristian Castro, Alejandra Guzmán, Charlie Zaa and Laura Pausini. Albertsons: Cumbiamberos, Yari Moré, Amanecer, Alicia Villarreal and Dyango. Mobil/Canal 22: El Puma de Sinaloa, Maribel Guardia, Los Tri-o, Gerardito Fernández, Aline, Los Humildes and Paquita la del Barrio.
